Less than a week to go
until the launch of Online Games: Literature, New Media, and Narrative. This
MOOC, an upper-level English undergraduate course on the impact of romance poetry on gaming, narrative structures across
multiple media, and digital media, is free to all. Over the last two years,
70,000+ students have enrolled from all parts of the globe.

I found out that batmanbandaid and lmeg9 are some of the cosplayers in this photo! Batmanbandaid did a lot of the costume work and does commissions, and there are two more people in the group that aren’t in this picture, so now we know they have all nine 🙂

If you are a fan of Tolkien, Lord of the Rings, or MMOs, this is a fun course to join. Part of the coursework is playing Lord of the Rings Online.
