Review of Lines of Thunder by Walter Blaire
In the interests of full disclosure, I was sent a copy of this book by the author for the possibility of a review. All my reviews, good, bad, or indifferent, are based on my own opinion and from my personal viewpoint. They are also spoiler free.
Although I enjoyed the story it felt more like a prequel setting up a much more involved story to come later than a stand-alone novella.
The glimpses of the world’s background and complexities, while interesting, certainly led to more questions than answers. The main character was intriguing and I do want to find out what happens to him next.
I give it 4 stars for writing and world building. 3 stars for the prequel-ness.
