Review of The Wizard’s Bane

Review of The Wizard’s Bane by Michael J. Allen

In the interests of full disclosure, I was sent a copy of this book by the author for the possibility of a review. All my reviews, good, bad, or indifferent, are based on my own opinion and from my personal viewpoint. They are also spoiler free.

NOTE: Read Book 1: Murder in Wizard’s Wood first. This is not a stand-alone novel.

The writing is excellent, and you want the characters to prevail. The twists and turns of the book make it tricky to review without spoilers. Suffice it to say I recommend you read it.

If this book were a game of D&D, it would go like this. Roll 10,11,12,10,11,12,1,1,1,1,1,20. Phew. Roll 10,11,12,10,11,12,1,1,1,1,1,20. Phew. Roll 10,11,12,10,11,12,1,1,1,1,1,20. Phew.

I look forward to book three in the series.

I give it 4 stars.
