I enjoyed this book (these books?) quite a lot. The main
character, Kim, was immediately engaging and the story moved along at a rapid
My favorite books are those in which I care what happens to
the people in them. This is such a book. It also has heart and energy and
laughter along with the kind of writing which keeps me up later than I planned because
I just keep turning pages.
The definition I use is if I immediately go look for other
books by the author it gets 5 stars. Which I did. So it does.
Highly recommended if you enjoy fine writing, wizards,
Regency England, and mysteries.
